"Digit Call" is a highly flexible Nurse Call System with outstanding features at an affordable price. It is specifically designed for use in the Rest Home and Hospital industries.

The "Digit Call" Nurse Call System can be supplied as a simple system for just a few rooms with one "Mimic Panel" in the kitchen. It can be expanded to become a very complex system covering hundreds of rooms with full computer call logging and pocket paging with multiple Mimic Panels and zone indicators.

The "Digit Call" Nurse Call System features are as follows:

• Computer call logging; This option allows a computer connected into the system to monitor the calls and record the call/cancel times. This information along with patient information is stored in the computer's data-base and can be printed out at any time.
• Pocket Paging. When a computer is being used for nurse call logging a pocket paging system can be connected into the system. The computer triggers a pager in a staff members pocket that provides a message showing which room is calling.

Digit Call System Styling:
The room units utilize the PDL 600 designer series flush plate fittings, with high quality screen printed labeling. The Mimic Panels are attractively engraved to show a clean layout of the overall site and have a thin wooden frame which is hinged to the wall.
 
                        

Call Tones:

The "Digit Call" Nurse Call System has an array of different tones to alert the staff to various different situations. Some of these tones function as follows:

Nurse Call - This is a two tone sound which is activated by the patient. It starts off as a short tone once every fifteen seconds but gets longer and longer until answered.

Emergency Call - This is a continuous repeating tone that is activated by a staff member.

External door open Call - A two toned beep, low frequency tone which is activated by opening an external door.

Also included are tones for the reception desk and front door bell. all tones except the emergency tone can be enabled or disabled independently. When the "Digit Call" Nurse Call System is connected into a computer logging system the various different tones can be programmed to enable or disable themselves automatically, ie. an external door tone can be programmed to be disabled during the day and enabled during the night.
